AGGREGATE & QUARRY ASSOCIATION

School Initiatives

ROCKUP®

MITO are looking for extractive sites to host students enrolled in their RockUp® programme.

The programme involves hosting a student possibly interested in our sector for one day per week, over a 10-week period please. This will give them exposure to our industry while completing a couple of Level 2 Unit Standards – you can find the criteria for these unit standards in the RockUp® brochure. Once we have sites identified, MITO will approach local schools for interested students.

This is a great opportunity for us to showcase our industry to potential workers, and demonstrate to these young people the benefits of our sector.

For more information, check out the MITO website.
